A newborn who went missing from Agogo Presbyterian Hospital has been found safe and in good health.

The mother, Felicia Obenewaa, revealed that police contacted her after a woman brought the baby to the station. The woman explained that an unknown individual had left the child in her care temporarily but never returned to collect the baby.

According to sources, the incident occurred while Mrs. Obenewaa was at the hospital for a postnatal checkup. She was approached by a young woman who offered assistance, and the mother briefly left her baby with the stranger to use the washroom. Upon returning, she discovered that both the woman and her child were missing.

Hospital authorities confirmed that CCTV footage captured the suspect leaving the premises with the baby.

Police investigations are ongoing to identify the person responsible and uncover the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
