The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is holding its final rally today, December 5, ahead of Saturday’s general elections.

The rally is taking place at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon campus, specifically the Sports Directorate park opposite the Sports Stadium.

The NPP aims to make its final appeal to Ghanaians, urging them to vote for continuity and keep the party in power as they head to the polls on December 7.

The event is being led by the NPP’s flagbearer and Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. President Nana Akufo-Addo, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and other prominent party members are also expected to attend the rally.

Ahead of the event, traders are taking advantage of the occasion by selling party paraphernalia, while supporters from across the country are making their way to the rally grounds to show their backing for Dr Bawumia’s candidacy.
