The National Service Authority (NSA) has deployed 85,159 tertiary graduates to undertake their one-year mandatory national service across various public and private institutions nationwide.

In a statement issued on October 28, 2025, the Director-General of the NSA, Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, explained that the figure represents the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, which officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.

According to the statement, a total of 150,937 students initially uploaded their details onto the system, out of which 91,339 paid for their required pin codes. Of these, 85,459 were verified using their Ghana Cards, and 85,159 successfully completed the full registration process.

The Authority has scheduled regional validation and registration exercises from Wednesday, October 29 to Friday, November 21, 2025. Service personnel are required to check their postings on the NSA’s official website — gnsa.gov.gh — print their appointment letters, and book appointments online for registration at designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres.

The NSA also cautioned personnel against engaging individuals or groups who claim they can influence postings, emphasizing that the Authority does not work through middlemen or agents.

“Management wishes to remind all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues,” the statement noted.

To complete registration, personnel must present their endorsed appointment letters and Ghana Cards at the validation centres.

Ms. Seddoh congratulated the newly posted graduates and urged them to approach their assignments with dedication, highlighting their role in contributing to national growth and development.
