A New York-based businessman and old student of the Agogo State College in the Ashanti Region, Sampson Adjei, has presented awards to 10 best well-behaved students of the college for the 2023/2024 academic year at a brief ceremony in the school.

The ceremony was in fulfilment of a promise the businessman made the previous year when he visited the school. He hoped to use the award scheme to raise well-behaved future leaders of the country. Each student received learning materials to serve as motivation for other students to emulate.

Mr Adjei used the opportunity to interact with the students and urged other old students of the school to undertake similar projects to encourage better learning outcomes among the students.

The Headmistress of the school, Matilda Gyamina, in a remark, thanked Mr Adjei for his kind gesture, saying the presentation was timely and would motivate other students to follow their example.
