The Paramount Chief of the Kpandai Traditional Area, Kpandaiwura Nana Bresiam Okoree Atorsah II, has issued a strong warning to politicians, insisting that residents will not be swayed by campaign promises unless their roads are fixed.
Speaking to Adom News, the chief expressed deep frustration over what he described as decades of neglect by successive governments.
He said the people of Kpandai are tired of being ignored and will no longer support leaders who fail to deliver tangible development.
“Why should we continue to vote for you while you drive in big cars, spending our money, yet refuse to fix our roads?” he questioned.
The poor state of roads in Kpandai, he noted, has severely affected economic activities, hindered the transportation of farm produce, and made access to healthcare and education extremely challenging.
Nana Atorsah II further appealed to the Minister of Energy to urgently resolve the persistent low voltage and unstable power supply affecting Kpandai and surrounding communities. The unreliable electricity, he said, is crippling local businesses and stifling development.
“We are pleading with the Energy Minister to help fix the low current situation. Our people deserve stable power to improve their livelihoods,” he added.
The chief reaffirmed his commitment to championing the welfare and development of his people, urging government to prioritize rural infrastructure and energy needs.
