The Ministry of the Interior has announced the start of a nationwide recruitment exercise for four major security agencies — the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.

In a statement, the ministry said the exercise, which runs from November 15 to December 15, aims to strengthen the country’s internal security and improve public safety.

It invited “suitably qualified, disciplined, and patriotic Ghanaian citizens” to apply, adding that details on vacancies, qualifications, and procedures for each service would be released soon.

The ministry warned applicants against paying money to anyone claiming to influence the recruitment process, stressing that “no fees are charged at any stage” and that fraudulent submissions would lead to disqualification and possible prosecution.

“Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for screening, aptitude tests, and background verification,” the statement added.
