Schools will be re-opened for first year senior high school students for the 2024/25 academic year on Friday, September 12, 2024, the Ghana Education Service has announced.
This is for the Junior High School graduates who completed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) last Monday.
In a letter dated July 15, 2024, addressed to all regional directors of education, and signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, the acting director for Schools and Instructions Division on hehalf of the Director General of the GES, parents and school heads were advised to take note and prepare accordingly.
Additionally, the GES stated that the vacation date for the students will be on Friday, December 6, 2024.
