A fire outbreak has ravaged parts of the Agya Herbal facility at Amasaman, destroying sections of the building and several personal belongings.
Firefighters from the Amasaman Fire Station responded swiftly to a distress call and arrived at the scene within minutes. They managed to bring the blaze under control and fully extinguish it within an hour.
Their prompt intervention prevented the fire from spreading to nearby storey buildings. No casualties were recorded.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has begun investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
