Coach Ibrahim Tanko has officially parted ways with Accra Lions, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and significant contributions to the club’s growth. Under his leadership, the team made notable strides, earning him widespread respect for his commitment to player development and overall progress.

In a seamless transition, German trainer Rainer Kraft has taken over coaching duties. Reflecting on his departure, Tanko expressed pride in his time with the club and emphasized the strong bond he shares with the team.

“While I am stepping away to focus on other projects, my connection with the team remains strong, and I will always be available to support the club,” he stated.

The Accra Lions management extended their heartfelt gratitude to Ibrahim Tanko for his invaluable contributions, affirming that the door remains open for his possible return in the future.

As Rainer Kraft resumes his role as head coach, the club remains committed to its mission of developing talent and striving for success in the Ghana Premier League.
