The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, through the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, has handed over a newly constructed three-storey girls’ dormitory with a capacity of 600 beds to his alma mater, Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School, in the Western North Region.

The modern facility features 10 spacious dormitory rooms with lavatories on each floor, open washrooms, a washing and ironing area, a common room, and a storeroom. It also includes an infirmary and a two-bedroom apartment for the housemistress.

The project was executed by Attachy Construction Limited, with Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) serving as the consulting firm.

The Otumfuo’s Hiahene, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, who chairs the Foundation’s board, presented the project on behalf of the Asantehene. He handed the keys to local traditional leaders, who in turn presented them to the school authorities.

This initiative reflects Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s enduring commitment to promoting access to quality education and providing safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environments for students.
