On November 30th, 2024 – The heart of Accra pulsed with energy and excitement on Saturday as the Movement for NDC Grassroots Mobilisation Network, led by Comrade Alfred Nartey Agbo, with support from Accra Youth for Mahama headed by Richard Yankey and a Leading Party Member and a businessman by name Zulkarnaine Abdulrahman whom is the Deputy finance (NDC-National Zongo Caucus) organized a spirited Victory Mass walk in support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The event, which started at 8:00 am from Obra Spot, was a resounding show of solidarity as thousands of NDC supporters, young and old, danced through the principal streets of Accra, expressing their unwavering support for the party and its presidential candidate, H.E John Dramani Mahama.

As the walkers made their way to Independence Square, the vibrant display of Ghana colors together with NDC colors filled the streets. The air was charged with optimism as participants, including men, women, and children, sang, chanted, and moved to the beat of lively music that played in the background. The Victory-Peace mass walk not only showcased the strong support by the Grassroots members of the party for the NDC but also the unity within the party as members from across the country came together for the cause.

At the Independence Square, the crowd was addressed by a series of invited NDC dignitaries, including Zulkarnaine, Okyeame, Jeremiah Maclean and the National Convernor for the Movement who spoke passionately about the importance of the upcoming elections and the need for a united front during, before and after the election. However, the most anticipated speech came from Alfred Nartey Agbo, the convener of the Movement for Grassroots Mobilisation Network was on the National interest and the love for the NDC.

In his address, Nartey Agbo called for peace to prevail before, during, and after the elections, urging all NDC supporters to conduct themselves with the highest level of respect and responsibility. He emphasized that the country’s future depended on a peaceful and fair electoral process, and that the NDC would not relent in its mission to provide better governance for the people of Ghana.

Nartey Agbo’s message was clear: a vote for the NDC and John Dramani Mahama on December 7, 2024, was a vote for progress, unity, and a brighter future. He urged the crowd to channel their enthusiasm into securing a landslide victory for Mahama, stressing that the party’s commitment to peace and prosperity was unwavering.

The victory mass walk, organized under the leadership of Alfred Nartey Agbo, was not only a display of political support but also a call for peaceful, democratic elections. As the event concluded, the participants left with renewed energy and determination to take the message of peace and unity to every corner of Ghana, ensuring that the NDC’s vision for the future becomes a reality on Election Day.
