The Sunyani District Court B has remanded three individuals into police custody in connection with a chieftaincy dispute at Sampa in the Jaman North Municipality of the Bono Region.

The suspects — 25-year-old Alhassan Issah, alias Crack; 24-year-old Luis Kwame Antwi, alias Erikay; and Yussif Ahmed, alias Plus 2 — were arrested at various locations in Sampa on November 4, 2025, during an intelligence-led operation by the Bono Regional Police Command.

A statement signed by Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah, Public Relations Officer for the Bono Regional Police Command, indicated that several accomplices remain at large.

The trio appeared before the Sunyani District Court B on Wednesday, November 5, where they were charged with conspiracy to commit crime, causing harm, causing damage, assault, and stealing.

Presiding judge, Mr. Eric Danning Esq., remanded the suspects into police custody to reappear in court on November 10, 2025.
