A kindergarten pupil, identified as Daniel, has lost his life in a tragic accident at Aburaso near Adugyama in the Ashanti Region.
Eyewitnesses say the young boy was crushed under logs that fell from a long vehicle truck with registration number GE 9901-11 while walking home from school.
Two other children who were also trapped under the logs sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at the Bechem Hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
“Daniel and two other pupils were walking home from school when the accident happened,” an eyewitness recounted. “The logs fell from the moving truck and unfortunately landed on the children, killing Daniel instantly.”
The tragic death of the nursery pupil has plunged the Aburaso community into mourning, as relatives and residents struggle to come to terms with the heartbreaking loss.
Police have taken over the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
