The Human Rights Division of the High Court has adjourned the case between former Finance Minister Kenneth Ofori-Atta and the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to November 25, 2025.
The adjournment followed proceedings on Thursday, October 23, during which the court heard two motions filed by Mr. Ofori-Atta’s legal team. The former minister’s lawyers sought disclosures from the OSP and also requested leave to amend their original motion on notice. Both applications were opposed by counsel for the OSP.
The court has directed both parties to file their written submissions by midnight on Friday, October 24, in preparation for the next sitting.
Mr. Ofori-Atta is challenging the OSP’s decision to declare him “wanted” and publish the notice publicly while investigations into his activities are ongoing.
The case continues to draw public interest, as it raises broader questions regarding the scope of the Special Prosecutor’s authority in publicly naming individuals under investigation.
