Health workers at the Danfa Health Centre in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly have closed down their facility over the lack of logistics to run the facility.

The health centre, which serves about 19 communities in the Madina enclave, have turned away patients who reported to the facility this morning [Thursday, July 18, 2024].

The facility provides services including ante-natal care, deliveries, and post-natal services.

Sources at the health facility who pleaded anonymity say currently, senior officials from the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Health Directorate are in a crunch meeting with the staff at the facility.
