, Kaizer Chiefs will host Kotoko in the Toyota Cup and ahead of the competition, a contingent from Kazier Chiefs including club legend Siyabonga Nomvete visited Ghana.
Highlighting the importance of the partnership between the two African giant clubs, Kwesi Appiah shared his aspirations for a long term union stating,
“I believe my players here are not going to let me down; it’s-the Toyota Cup game- going to be very entertaining. I hope that we continue this relationship because it shouldn’t be a one year thing.”
Kotoko recently wrapped up winning the MTN FA Cup and President’s Cup; the Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana in next season CAF Confederation Cup that commences in September.
