Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Dr Kingsley Agyemang, marked his birthday with a touching act of generosity by paying the full medical bills
Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Dr Kingsley Agyemang, marked his birthday with a touching act of generosity by paying the full medical bills of all in-patients at the Kyebi Government Hospital — the same facility where he was born prematurely years ago.
Dr Agyemang visited the hospital on Monday, where he interacted with patients, health workers, and mothers at the pre-term ward. Witnesses described the visit as deeply emotional, as the MP reflected on his own beginnings as a vulnerable preterm baby in the very place he returned to support.
Hospital authorities expressed their appreciation, noting that the gesture provided immense relief to families struggling with medical costs.
Dr Agyemang explained that the visit held both personal and symbolic meaning, saying giving back to the institution that helped sustain his life at birth had been a long-held goal.
Residents and well-wishers have since commended the MP, describing the gesture as a heartfelt demonstration of gratitude, humility, and community service.
